An agent in Hollywood. What's the best way to get a decent one?

There are SO MANY scams and such. Can someone point me in the right direction? What's the best way to contact one? Should I use email or regular mail? What should I say? I'm not just some schmuck trying to be famous. I have a lot of talent, am very good looking, and overall tired of people asking me if I am an actor. I have done voice work and monologues.
