How can I get VLC to stream video to another computer? 10 points for best answer.?

I am using VLC to stream an MP4 movie. I am using the wizard to get the stream up and running, but whenever I try to access it from the other computer i get a socket bind error and another message saying that it cannot open the socket. The stream shows up in the network streams panel, I just can't get it to run. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it. I am using a UPD unicast and an MPEG TS encapsulation. Please help.
