How can I get VLC to stream video to another computer? 10 points for best answer.?

I am using VLC to stream an MP4 movie. I am using the wizard to get the stream up and running, but whenever I try to access it from the other computer i get a socket bind error and another message saying that it cannot open the socket. The stream shows up in the network streams panel, I just can't get it to run. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it. I am using a UPD unicast and an MPEG TS encapsulation. Tooth and gum pain, heavy gum bleeding HELP?

Today I woke up fine, then after a couple hours my tooth started getting really sore, especially when I bit down with it. I hadn't eaten anything yet so nothing was stuck in the gum area. I decided that I might floss to see what the issue was. My gum around the tooth started bleeding TERRIBLY, like a full stream of blood that lasted maybe 5 seconds. I have great oral health. I brush twice a day AND floss AND use mouth wash. I also was just at the dentist 4 weeks ago and they said my teeth were perfect. I rinsed with mouth wash and also rinsed with salt water. What is this, why is bleeding so much (not just some red or pink on the floss but a sudden stream), and what can I do to make it stop? My dentist's office is closed until Tuesday. Please help!

Life Story? Confused On What Will Happen Next? ( VERY LONG AND DEPRESSING )?

Well, here's my life story at the age of 14: I've had mental problems since I was 5 years old.... not in the mentally retarted way, but the depressing and the " Frontal Wiring " in my brain is messed up. I've lost my friends that I've known since I was in Kindergarten ( I'm a freshman ). I have no friends now, and pretty much everybody hates me. Nobody acknowledges me or realizes anything I do. I've been bullied since Kindergarten and I am still getting bullied. My parents were divorced at my age of 8. They live at seperate houses and my mom has a stalker. I fear for her as well. In 4th grade I was diagnosed with Depression. I had many thoughts of suicide, and nearly killed myself numerous times. In 6th grade, I was bullied like crazy for every reason. All through these years I acted as kind and as generous as I could possibly support, yet, I was treated horribly. In 6th grade, I began an unidentified eating disorder, similar to anorexia. I starved myself for no reason, at merely 120 calories per day. I almost died many times. The doctors said sometimes when I was in the hospital, that I would've died if I fell asleep that day. By this time, I've been through around 4 therapists, because they just couldn't figure me out. Then I was bullied again by an @$$. I lost friends from this conflict. Then, I dropped out of school and spent the rest of the school year crying and sleeping. Then, beginning of 7th grade, I still had the eating disorder with even less of calories per day. I then got into a fight with some kid for no reason, and lost. I lost all of my friends except for 2 there. I then left school again and followed my daily routine... crying.... and, sleeping. Luckily, I am a straight A student, so I still passed. In that Summer, I went to Michigan and received a gift that would change my life forever... a female anery corn snake. My cousin could not care for her anymore, so he gave her to me. Then, I went back to school and I was again bullied... but worse. I still got crap for losing the fight LAST YEAR, up until now. I was extremely depressed. By 1/4 through 8th grade, I had lost all of my friends..... beside 1, but I don't ever hear from him.... so I guess you can call him an old friend. I lost friends that I've known for years. I then collected money to buy more snakes. I bought 2 ball pythons and they will breed next year. Breeding snakes will now be my life career. My only friends are my reptiles. And those reptiles, are people to me. They're my best friends in the entire world. As for the ladys, I don't get too lucky, a girls parents don't like me, and another was baker acted recently and is actually by-sexual. So the moral of this is: Don't feel or be like me. Live your life. I'm only 14 years old and have gone through more stuff than most people in a lifetime. On the contrary, I'm still here. I'm lucky to have survived all of this.

Finding my baby daddy has been quite an adventure. Let me start off by saying that I can be categorized as a free spirited woman not bound the idiocracy of monogamy. Everyday is a fabulous journey and adventure into the world of drug induced confidence. So when I conceived my darling daughter, it came as somewhat of a surprise to say the least. I was exercising my right to have polyamorous relationships at the time which posed the biggest question of all. Who was my baby daddy? Sure, I believe in "once you go black, you never go back", but variety is the spice of life. When I found out the race of my daughter, it surely narrowed the possibilities. Throughout my entire pregnancy, I had had one man fully convinced that he had fathered my child. I so longed for him to be the father because he was tall, handsome responsible, etc. The only problem was, he was white. Not just any kind of white. He was pale skinned, blue eyed, and blond hair; the works! He put me up in his apartment while he went to work during the day as an accountant. We even set up a nursery. When, my baby came out half black, I told him the color came from my side of the family even though I am also a blonde hair blue eyed individual. For a while he believed me, until her hair started kinking up and her skin began brown more and more. One day when I came home, I found that both my daughter and I had been locked out, for good. I went to my mother's house with a determination to find the baby daddy. There were about 5 other possibilities because she was half black. So, I could immediately rule out the one Asian, and two Hispanic guys. I immediately got to work. I tracked down two guys on facebook. They basically called me out for being slut and really hurt my feelings. I had given up, when one day I got a call from Earl. He said he felt connected to me and he didn't know why. When i revealed the news of his potential daughter, he wept. I couldn't console him over the phone, so I asked that he come over to visit me. I greeted him at the door with only a coat on. When he sat down and cried on the couch, I slowly lowered the coat. My naked body shown to him, one thing led to another....We made passionate love as I wiped away his tears of joy. We did end up getting the DNA test later on that week. He paid for everything and had fully stocked up my daughter on all the necessities. We found out, that he was not the father. The other two possibilities, had pretty much dropped off the face of the earth, so I called the Maury show. Maury would not indulge me because I wasn't trashy-looking enough. Does it bother you when people stick up for strangers they know nothing about?

I especially see this happening when it comes to parents. I know someone who hasn't spoken to his parents in 15 years and when people find this out they instantly berate and attack him for being "selfish" and defend these parents of his even though they never met them and know nothing about them. I would NEVER accuse someone of being in the wrong for not having a relationship with a complete stranger to me who for all I know could've molested them or beat them or emotionally tortured them or god knows what. I mean yeah, it's 'possible' that the person is just being selfish but it's a lot more likely that they have a good reason for their feelings especially if they are feelings that stem from childhood. I try to put myself it the person's shoes and think...What if I berate someone and I don't realize that I'm berating a victim of child abuse! As if that person hasn't been through enough in their lives they now have to deal with some schmuck who doesn't even know the people they are defending tell me that I'm the selfish one? I'd rather just be quiet and not say anything rather than take the chance of possibly defending a baby-rapist or something. But I see people do this all the time even here on YA when people mention they don't talk to their parents. Why do people just assume that if you reproduce (are a parent) you're automatically a great person. Most people in high security prison are parents- they're hardly saints. Broken Super Soaker Arctic Blast?

I have a Super Soaker Arctic Blast. It is blue/green/orange and is about a year old. Whenever I pump the gun it shoots out a small water stream out of the stream nozzle. Pressing the trigger to shoot the stream nozzle does nothing. The flood nozzle works but only if I cover the stream nozzle with my finger while I'm pumping. Is there any way to fix this. The gun was expensive!

Hi, um I've been in a abusive relationship while pregnant. I was able to break free with the help of friends,. The day I left my boyfriend cut his wrist because I left and he was put on Baker Act. Through the whole relationship he put his hands on me. I never wanted to report him because at the time I felt like he was all i had because my family were angry with me for being pregnant. I was so close into reporting him when one day he hit me and drop me off to the bus station and I was crying and some one called the police. The police ask me for his name but I refused. Also at one point I took pictures of the abuse. I had my baby the following week he slit his wrist and he hasn't seen his child since (2months). Why does youtube give you a "comment pending approval" notification when you try to comment sometimes?

If I try to comment at some stupid video that has no real significance my comments always work no problem. If I post a comment on a controversial kind of video sometimes I'll run into issues. One is a "pending approval" message. These comments are almost never approved. Another issue is the comment deal just straight up will not work sometimes (always at a video with real world implications). Who's approval am I waiting for? The posting individual? I think the leaf would've been cool if... They didn't call it the leaf; putting its driver up on an environmental pedestal. I'm not sure what to do and maybe a stranger's perspective can help. I have been married now for almost Six years to a guy that has not been truthful from the start of our marriage. Over the years I have loved this guy deeply and have bailed him out of trouble too many times to speak of but its his past that keeps causing trouble in our marriage and the fact that each year something from his past rears its ugly head. He lied about child support he owes, unpaid parking/speeding tickets, and even about a child he had before we met. I am perplexed as to why this man can't step up and be a man (he's over 40) I'm constantly having to bail him out, have the same conversation regarding his past but the most hurtful thing was the kid. It's not that I mind he has a kid from another woman, but he's denied him parental guidance....doesn't pay child support for him and basically denies his existence. Now I understand everyone makes mistakes, but he seems like he never makes amends for his and it makes me tired and angry because of what he does to this 14 yr old boy and I had to force him to pay the other kids' child support. To add to this burden, I found my first love again who is divorced and we have talked so much about this situation and my life. I guess I'm looking for someone to slap some sense into me...my two oldest kids hate my husband...all my friends thinks he's a Schmuck. Multithreaded linked list in C++?

I'm trying to write a socket based program that will pull packets off a stream and parse them into a linked list that will then be processed to do actual work in another thread. My idea, though, to keep the socket stream and parser moving along and prevent the socket thread and the processor thread from ultimately being extremely serial, is to place the mutex for each node within the node itself and have the stream thread lock each node as it creates it, parse the packet and fill the node, then create the next node and lock that one before unlocking the node it just finished with. The processor thread will then follow behind attempting to lock each node before working on it, doing its work, then unlocking and deleting the node. Before I dedicate a lot of time implementing this, though, I was wondering if anyone could think of anything I've overlooked, or has any better ideas or suggestions?

Is there an Alternative to Baker College Online?

I have been attending Baker college online for the last year. I am not learning anything because the classes are 6 weeks long and we dont have time to absorb anything. Financial aid is a disaster. The reason I stay is because I am working on a bachelors degree in criminal justice but I'm not working. My loans and pell are maxed out and I get a refund check from Baker every 12 weeks. My 3 year old GSD wont eat?

We bought a German Shepherd ***** about 6-7 weeks ago. The previous owner used to leave her food down all day and we realised this was why she was so underweight. We took her to Pets at Home and they put her on Wainwrights which is just brown kibble biscuits. At first she loved it but then after a few weeks hardly touched it. She'd spit it out and leave it. As a result and us not wanting her to lose the weight she's put on we tried mixing fresh tripe with it. Again, she loved it and cleared her bowl several times. However after a bit god bored of the tripe and wouldnt touch it. We then tried wet food mixed and as before, she loved it. We carried this on several times but then reealised she would only eat the wet food. Now she wont touch her food bowl unless there is a full pouch or full can of wet food in there. She will eat the odd biscuit. Yesterday we bought her a different make of food (Bakers Complete as it looks way more appetising) and she loved the first bowl we gave her. She couldn't get enough of it. But this morning i've found when i gave it her at her routine time (1pm) She wouldnt touch it and went to sleep instead. So again, i mixed half a pouch of wet food in and she ate a few biscuits and walked away. So i decided to put the full pouch of food in. She's eaten half of it and left it, so i've now put it away in the cupboard as she's had too long to eat it and if she doesn't eat her dinner within half an hour to an hour we take it away as we are trying to get her into a routine! please help!!!!!!

THE VET'S ARE ALL STUPID, answer for easy points.?

To sum it up 4 weeks ago from when this question is posted, my pet chihuahua fell off the couch and broke his leg, when we first went to the vet he told us that the paw was not broken, that it was just sprained we all thought we should wrap his paw but the vet continuously yelled at us not to, then we decided to get a second opinion actually using an x ray machine he said it was broken, but when they finally put on a cast they sprayed it with hazardous chemicals that were too strong and it burnt his skin off (literally) the inside of the cast was fused to the skin, now the doc's won't say anything, except tomorrow we have to remove a bandage they put on his arm to let the meat heal, problem is his skin still didn't grow back yet, and his paw is still broken, i'm honestly sick of all the vets few questions pertaining to this : is there anyway to still heal his bone, second is there anything we can do for his paw :third what the **** is wrong with all these stupid vet's it took two weeks for them to figure out his paw was broken then came the poor chemicals they used to burn his skin, and now they want to try and put him in another cast for three weeks, i'm honestly sick of all these vets so i don't want to sue but wat kind of schmucks would do something like this, and finally can i just get an explaination on what the **** happened.

Well I'm new to Netflix and don't know much about it. I have known this person since we were nine, we are both sixteen year old boys, and he used to live behind me. When I first went to school with him he was more popular than me, but our roles have slowly reversed. Trying to be a good friend at first, I tried to get my old pal involved with us, but after quickly seeing how awkward he makes it with his lack of social skills, I have decided to keep from inviting him on several different occasions. Now, with my new friends being rather attractive girls, this doesn't sit very well with him. I've was able to avoid the problem until last Sunday when we went out to eat for one of the girls birthdays. The problem is, he wasn't invited to this lunch, but to another get-together with a guy from our Youth Group. I was invited also, but opted to go to the birthday instead. Why this is a problem was, my friend had left his wallet at home, and asked me if I could spot him. Like an idiot, instead of saying "I'm not going," I said "If I go I will spot you, just let me see what I'm going to do." Now, I know that he is good for his money and would have payed me back, that's not the issue. After church, he asked me which lunch I was going to, and when I said the birthday, he got offended and pissed, running off before I could offer him money to eat with the others, which I was planning on doing. I felt awful at first, but not I feel as though I should just wash my hands of this entire thing. I haven't spoken to him since. Should I try to get back together with my friend, or just move on? As of this moment I'm leaning towards the latter.

She also said that If I arrange payments it would be a warrant but it would be on hold. I paid 60 dlls because that was all I had. Now my question, what do I do? Netflix is so slow!! Why?

We just got netflix. We used the wii first, it took like 30 min just to stream and TV show and during a movie it "Retrieved" like 5 times. Its annoying!! Cause of right knee pain?

I'm a pretty serious runner (I run half marathons) and I also play basketball. About 6 weeks ago, I went running, and from the very beginning, I felt this sharp/pulling pain in the back of my knee. I've never had any problem with my knees before, so I'm not very familiar with knee injuries. My first thought was that I tweaked a tendon or ligament. I stayed off it and iced it but there hasn't been any improvement. I finally went to the doctor and they did a physical examination, and they said my symptoms sounded like a Baker's cyst, except they couldn't find it. They said that a small cyst wouldn't be giving me this much pain. It occasionally causes pain under my kneecap, and my knee feels inflamed all the time. When I plant my foot and twist my knee/thigh inwards (to the left), I feel a painful pull in the middle of my knee, and then sometimes it locks when I twist it back. I can do almost all activities (except running and extended walking) and my range of motion isn't really affected. Any ideas what it might be?

Underground water in my backyard. What/where is this from?

I recently dug three holes in my backyard to install an arbor. One hole has filled with water. After emptying the water, I could see water streaming back into the hole. Within two hours, it had fill with 12.25 inches of water. I dug two of the holes 36 inches deep, but the hole with the water is about 20-22 inches deep. I decided to stop in order to figure out where the water is coming from before proceeding. I understand that I may be able to use products to get around the water and continue with the arbor installation, but I would like to know where the water is coming from. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? I live in a large city in the midwest and have never heard of this. Thanks for your help!

Netflix rediculously slow?

We just got netflix. We used the wii first, it took like 30 min just to stream and TV show and during a movie it "Retrieved" like 5 times. Its annoying!! So we switched to our Xbox 360, but it didn't help. It says our internet connection is too slow. It only shows ONE bar. The router is only like 6 feet away from the wii and xbox so thats not it. Our computer is pretty fast though..so i don't know what the problem is??? PLease help!? Do we need to two wireless routers for it to work fast??

What to sell for my school carnival day?

At my school carnival there were different stands with kids that sold stuff! The popular things were cupcakes, cookies, brownies, Crepes.. they made the Crepes for you and then you go to put whatever you wanted on it! So my friend ( who is NOT going to be named) is always making b*tchy comments on basically everything. I"m a REALLY good baker and I made this mud cake that was yum and super moist. Guess what she says? " hmm, you"re pushing it, it"s a little dry". I got 100% on my science exam (woo!) and she says that it was "just a lucky time" which is not true since 96% was the average of all my exam marks. Why is she doing this? I'am 26, my brother 30. I decided to let him move in rent free about 2 years ago but wow this guy is such a free loaded, to the point where i feel like schmuck. He eeats all my food, showers 3 times a day and wears my clothes. Being that he is older and family i dont really know what to do. Blood in stool, can you help?

I am noticing blood along with my stool after going to the restroom. The blood is not mixed into the stool, but it comes out along with it (it is usually bright red). Sometimes the blood squirts out in a stream as I bear down.Also, I see dark red fragments that accompany it, I can't tell whether its skin from inside or coagulated blood.Other symptoms are, stinging sensations in my intestinal area. I thought the blood was there cause I was taking too much aspirin.I have a Dr.'s appt. on the 6th of the month. I saved the fragment in a ziplock bag and put in fridge so I can take it in, has anyone ever had this prob.?

How to bake wedding cakes from box cake mix?

i'm baking several 4 tiered wedding cakes, 12", 10", 8", 6" x 2" Rounds from box cake mix. i'm not a real strong baker but I"ve been Decorating for a chain bakery for 8+ yrs and i make bday cakes for my girls 10+years. Question: can i bake different sized pans at the same time. also on the largest pan how do i bake evenly without over-baking the edges if i dont have the baking strips? does it matter how full they are? i've been filling them 3/4's full and cutting off the mound of cake, just wondering if there's another way.

I am in my early twenties, doing restaurant work as a baker. I am unfulfilled because I have a bachelor's degree in science and have had an interest in nutrition since high school. I LOVE cooking and baking and went to culinary school for this, but I want to help people in another way, still involving food. I believe in the saying, "Let food by thy medicine, thy medicine shall be thy food." The problem is I see dietitians sometimes as food gurus giving clients a list of dos and don'ts, and honestly I don't agree with this. I see the client as a whole, who may come to a dietician for a weight, or food-related problem, but who would actually benefit more from a homeopathic, exercise, eastern medicine, or alternative medicine advice. From research I have been doing, it seems hard to be a credible practitioner in these fields, without a valid medical degree in Western science. But, I cannot se myself as a Western doctor, at the same time I cannot see myself just as a R.D., without extensive medical knowledge of the human body. I guess I am torn between Eastern and Western medicine, but ultimately, I want to be a preventative focused doctor, rather than a reactionary doctor if that makes sense. I know that I am a good listener, and can deal with many types of people, and I have a great interest in science, but I am truly a chef and musician at heart. I didn't mean to throw that curveball in there, but maybe now you can understand me a bit better. I don't like much working for a boss, as I see myself as an entrepreneur and leader. How would I ever get through a traditional medical school like this? I question all figures of authority and find that other students rarely have the level of enthusiasm I have for the subject we are learning. Perhaps, I am best suited NOT to go back to school, and be the chef and musician I am, but I believe in 10 years, I will want to push my science knowledge and help others in another way. Please give any advice for this lost 20-something year old, if possible. Gracias.

Well, my dream used to involve some sort of law/criminal justice, but now that I'm getting closer to college (I'm a junior in h.s.) I'm starting to lean more towards becoming a pastry chef or baker. I need someone who been through a child custody battle?

Hi, um I've been in a abusive relationship while pregnant. I was able to break free with the help of friends,. The day I left my boyfriend cut his wrist because I left and he was put on Baker Act. Through the whole relationship he put his hands on me. I never wanted to report him because at the time I felt like he was all i had because my family were angry with me for being pregnant. I was so close into reporting him when one day he hit me and drop me off to the bus station and I was crying and some one called the police. The police ask me for his name but I refused. Also at one point I took pictures of the abuse. I had my baby the following week he slit his wrist and he hasn't seen his child since (2months). I promised him I would never keep his child away from him. His birthday is coming up ( I still care about him) and I thought about letting him see his child. I wanted to go to the police station lobby. Somewhere with full security. I know he will ask him to see his daughter more. Bu I would like to do it the legal way after i let him see his daughter for his birthday. I can get the police report, i have the pictures and possibly written statements by my job stating that I had blood clots in my eyes and etc. Also him coming to my job. How should I go about this and should I wait even his birthday is in a week???
