I need help!!! I got a call fromdream job working with the city of Austin. But I hv a warrant for a ticket/?

Ive lived in Austin for over 10 yrs. Im a single mom of 4 boys and I need a good paying job. I work as a baker in a store here in Austin, night time. A friend told me about a job opening as a clerk with the city. The pay is alot better than what Im getting as a baker.I was so happy when I got called for an interview. I went and everything went great everyone was very nice and friendly, I was sure I got the job. Three days later I got a call and they said that they thought I was a good candidate for the job, but that when they did the background check something came up. I had a ticket, I told him that I had payed for that ticket. He said to go to the court and get a report, I did just that. I went to the court told them what had happend and what i needed. The lady there said no problem ask me for my name andl date of birth, driver licence etc..She then said that I had another ticket that had turned into a warrant and that if they ran a report it would show on the report. She also said that If I arrange payments it would be a warrant but it would be on hold. I paid 60 dlls because that was all I had. Now my question, what do I do? How do I explained employer that I did not remember about this ticket and that I want to pay for it but I dont have the money at this time. I really need this job and know I feel that I have the chance and Im losing it. I cant stop crying about this situation. My ticket is for 700 dlls because it was given to me on 2004 and I failed to go to court. Please I need some advice.
